Aug 14 (Reuters) – Opener ⁠Tanzid Hasan scored his maiden century in ⁠his second test as Bangladesh reached 286 ‌for three at tea on day two of the series-opener against Australia in Darwin on Friday, taking a first-innings ​lead of 88 runs.

The Bangladesh Premier League will not take place this season, the country’s cricket board (BCB) president Tamim Iqbal told reporters on Thursday, citing various issues that plagued the previous seasons including allegations of match fixing and corruption.
